We got a {surprise} visit from our favorite Ya Ya. My boys had no idea she was coming, and I wish I had recorded their reaction when we picked her up at the airport. It was priceless.
Hope has been a little hesitant about our move from the beginning. Idaho is a foreign country to her and she couldn't see herself making a visit to farmville. Luckily we tricked her into thinking it would be a luxurious getaway and she made the trek.
My kids were in heaven the entire time. We ventured out and went to places that we had never been. We tried food we had never eaten. And my boys woke her up at obscenely early hours of the morning to ask for french toast.
We made books, and newspaper prints, and built things at home depot. We rocked out in the car to loud music, and made late night trips to DQ. We laughed, cried, and talked until we couldn't anymore.
But our favorite part was just having her around. Spending some good ol quality time and pretending we really don't live a couple states away.
Thanks for coming to visit, we hope it isn't too long before we see you again!
